James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding
With spring and summer seemingly so short here in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, it's a wonder you can get any home improvement projects completed at all. With Exteriors By Aspen's turn-key, worry-free siding, window, masonry, roofing, gutter and outdoor living expertise, we recommend making the first call today for a free consultation where we can discuss your wants and needs.
Every proud homeowner wants to have beautiful curb appeal. As the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Today's homeowner has many choices when it comes to what they can have installed on their home's exterior. We want to help you make the correct, educated choice when it comes to both of those decisions.
Believe me ... we've seen it all when it comes to siding installations and this is what led me to leave my position at James Hardie and become my own Spokane and Coeur d'Alene area siding contractor. I know you have a choice when it comes to what you put on your home and I know even better that you have a choice when it comes to who installs it.
We only use and promote James Hardie fiber cement siding with ColorPlus® Technology to re-clad your home for a multitude of reasons. James Hardie is the world's leader in fiber cement siding. They pioneered the technology and continue to lead the pack with an annual Research and Development budget of around $20 million.
With this R&D investment, JH continues to develop not only new products, but new technology that is unsurpassed in the exterior cladding industry. The most notable of these is ColorPlus® Technology; the industry's premier pre-finished siding product that performs great here in Spokane. Not only will your siding be the best in the industry, so will it's coating! And it comes with an amazing warranty, too! The board itself is backed by a non-prorated, 30 year, up to 200% warranty and the coating (paint) boasts a 15 year warranty. The coating is applied in a factory controlled environment with consistent thickness across all parts of the board. Other cladding will offer a store-bought paint, but not James Hardie. James Hardie's coating has been specifically formulated for their fiber cement siding.
When you choose to re-clad your home in James Hardie fiber cement siding, remember how important it is to keep all your components fiber cement; the siding, corner trim, window trim, fascia and soffit. When you have a complete James Hardie fiber cement exterior with ColorPlus® Technology, not only do you have a beautiful, lasting siding solution, but you have one that will weather consistently through our harsh summers and winters here in Coeur d'Alene as opposed to having a wood product and a fiber cement product.
Another benefit of a James Hardie fiber cement envelope is that of fire protection. As we all know, the Coeur d'Alene summersd are beautiful and absolutely perfect except for the August fires that cut it short. In case of a fire, there is peace of mind knowing your house will protect you while your family flees to safety. Competitive wood siding is no match for fire - nor is vinyl as it melts almost instantly. James Hardie boasts a zero flame spread index which means it will not ignite when exposed to a direct flame, nor will it contribute fuel to a fire.
Is all fiber cement created equally? Definitely not. Spokane siding installations are treated differently than how the board is made and installed on the coast. The Hardie Zone System, developed by James Hardie, ensures your new Spokane or Coeur d'Alene siding package will stand up to the elements we face up here in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.
The James Hardie siding in Spokane and the James Hardie siding in Post Falls that is manufactured for our climate is different that the board that is manufactured for Seattle and the coast. Spokane siding sees different climactic variables and sees different challenges than other parts of the country.
100% NO PRESSURE, NO HASSLES, NO OBLIGATION
Our process is so simple, anyone can do it, but none do! Once we hear from you, the owner of the company (not a first year wet-behind-the-ears salesman who doesn't know more than what he was taught at orientation) will meet you at your project location whether that be your home, office, or apartment building to discuss your current needs, wants, or problems you're currently having on the existing envelope. We discuss your vision for your project and ask lots of questions to be sure to fully understand your project's goals.
What's most important to you? Do you live in a turn-of-the century Craftsman or Bungalow that needs an update? Is keeping the historical aspects of your home front and center important to you? Do you live in a 1970's split level rancher that is in need of an update? Is your home devoid of any type of character at all and desperately seeking an update? How important is budget to your project? Have you looked at the different siding options available to you including fiber cement, engineered wood or vinyl? What are your thoughts on any of those?
Once you are comfortable with the direction we've discussed and all your questions, concerns, and curiosities are answered we'll take a series of photographs and measurements of the house. Then, guess what? We'll leave! That's right! Your time is valuable (and so is ours)! You have better things to do that have a stranger hang out for 3 or 4 hours selling you on something you either know you want or know you don't want right off the bat!
CDA SIDING CONTRACTOR
We know budget is important to your project. With that in mind, Exteriors By Aspen utilizes a state of the art software program to help provide a firm bid for your Spokane siding installation project.
With this program, we take a series of photographs around your home and build a complete, complex, 3-D model of your home or business that gives us all wall square footages as well as linear footages of soffits, fascias, corner trims, etc. You can also use this design tool to completely transform your Spokane siding project or Coeur d'Alene siding project from one style to a completely different style!
Want to see what your house looks like as a modern farm house? We can do that! Want to see what your house would look like covered in shingles? Want to see what all new windows would look like with a different color siding? We can do all that, too!
How does this help your project from a budget standpoint? We use these measurements to provide a tight, no-waste bid with no guess work what-so-ever!
